BURWASH MANOR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY | STACY & KEITH
BURWASH MANOR SUMMER WEDDING
Stacy & Keith’s Burwash Manor wedding in August was probably the most relaxed wedding I’ve photographed in the last few years. Beginning at Grantchester’s sweet little church, the afternoon at Burwash Manor was hazy, lazy and set amongst the oh-so-English apple orchard on bean bags and deck chairs. Summer games, an ice cream cart, and laid back summer tunes meant that the whole day just felt laid-back and un-fussy.
Stacy & Keith’s tribe were the sort of people that have been around them since they were both really young. The kind of couple that have an easy warmth that makes you feel like you’ve been their friend for years. I can totally see why so many of their friends were so keen to tell stories and anecdotes about them whilst we spent time laughing our way through their family group pictures.
BURWASH’S SECRET GARDEN SETTING
Burwash is a sixteenth century manor house that is tucked away, and having lived previously in Cambridge for 6 years, I had no idea it was there. Its appeal is the peaceful, secluded walled garden – which creates a setting perfect for couples looking for an English country garden wedding.
ENGLISH COUNTRY WEDDING STYLING
If you love the styling of this wedding, it won’t surprise you to know that most of the day was put together by family & friends. Keith’s Mum did the floristry, and the “bar” was a huge ice-filled tub with bottles for people to help themselves to.
Our portrait session together was an easy walk at sunset, just Keith and Stacy having a moment together during a balmy summer night.
