A Rainy Normanton Church Wedding | Lizzie & Nicole
This may look like a rainy day in October… but Lizzie and Nicole were married in June. June! On what has turned out to be my wettest wedding of 2019, Lizzie and Nicole did not care… one tiny bit. As guests made their way from cars to the stunning little church jutting out into Rutland Water, umbrellas were inside out, hair had the appearance of being in a wind tunnel, babies and young children were being smuggled in to protect them from the monsoon weather.
Lizzie and Nicole may have looked at me like I was a little bit nuts when I asked them to “Trust Me!” as we braved the torrential rain to capture what have become some of my all time favourite wedding images.
I was a little bit sad when their (eventually sunny) day was over. And we have stayed in touch since. I so hope they invite me back to photograph any little ones they might have in the future.
So… here are some of the details if you love their images.

And here is Lizzie and Nicole’s take on their photography:
” We are absolutely thrilled with our photos. They bring a tear to my eye every time I look at them and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for yours and Helen’s hard work on the day. You captured every moment for us and for that I am eternally grateful. “
